Saturday morning started with little promise of fun day with rain falling Intermittantly,
however proceedings commenced on time at 11.00 am.
At times the sun came out and then an odd bout of rain fell but the event continued on smoothly.
31 competitors, including 10 juniors, enjoyed the slippery conditions with some of the more experienced drivers losing rhythm on their way and spinning out on the back corner.

The course was swapped around several times.
The top 8 drivers for the day lined up for the King of the Paddock shootout in the NWCC Red Hyundai Lantra (the equaliser)
Consistency is the key to a good result at the end of the day.
Outright winner of the day was Stephen Turner.
The top 8 shootout for King of the Paddock was tightly contested, with the first four within three tenths of a second, but Jarom Rhind won out to take the crown.
